Purchase orders that match how you buy
- Draft, then confirm. Build a purchase order as a draft, then confirm it when it goes to the supplier. Confirmed orders are protected from accidental edits.
- Expected dates per line. Each line carries its own expected delivery date, so a supplier shipping in two parts is tracked as two dates, not one guess.
- Your supplier’s parts and currency. Record which parts each vendor supplies, and give each vendor a default currency that new purchase orders pick up automatically.
Receiving without the paperwork
- Partial receipts. Receive what arrived and leave the rest open. The order’s status follows what has actually been received.
- Batch receiving. Receive many lines — or several purchase orders — on one screen, and keep a receipt record of each delivery.
- Stock and cost update on receipt. Received quantities go straight into inventory at the receiving location, at their purchase cost, ready for FIFO costing.
Always know what’s on order
- The open purchase orders report lists everything still due, by supplier and date.
- The purchase spend and price history report shows what you spend with each supplier and how their prices change over time.
- The vendor delivery performance report shows who delivers on time.
- Every report exports to Excel and PDF, and order data can be exported to CSV.
When a supplier is late
Purchase orders are linked to the sales orders that depend on them, so a later delivery date recalculates your customers’ ship dates automatically. See supplier delay tracking.
